Registration Open for a Two-Day Training Seminar for Community Environmental Inspectors and Environmental Activists

🌿 NGO INPOLIT announces the opening of registration for a two-day training seminar aimed at preparing community environmental inspectors and environmental activists. The event will take place on 20–21 December 2025 in Polyana, Mukachevo district, Zakarpattia region. The seminar is organized in cooperation with the Institute of Biology and Medicine of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv within the project “Assessment of Environmental Risks Caused by Military Invasion”, supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Participants invited include lawyers, representatives of the State Environmental Inspectorate, current and prospective community environmental inspectors, representatives of local municipalities, students of natural sciences, and environmental activists.

🎯 The seminar aims to provide practical training for citizens engaged in environmental monitoring and community-based ecological control. Participants will learn about the legal foundations of environmental protection, common violations of environmental legislation, methods for documenting and gathering evidence, and effective interaction with the police, local authorities, and the State Environmental Inspectorate. The program also includes training on digital tools for environmental monitoring. The seminar seeks to strengthen local environmental capacities and support the formation of community-based inspector and volunteer groups.

🏡 The organizers provide accommodation, meals, training materials, and a full participant package. Arrival is scheduled for the morning of 20 December, with departure on the evening of 21 December or, upon prior arrangement, on 22 December.
