On April 7, 2025, the First Stakeholder Forum of the Green Recovery Platform for Ukraine took place in Kyiv.
The Green Recovery Platform for Ukraine is an international initiative, supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection, that brings together the Government of Ukraine, international organizations, and development partners to coordinate the country’s post-war green reconstruction and promote reforms in policies, legislation, and financial systems for a sustainable and climate-resilient recovery.
Its mission is to mobilize expertise and financial resources for a science-based, net-zero, and well-coordinated recovery that aligns with international standards of sustainable development and ensures the effective use of global assistance.
The Forum gathered diplomats, government representatives, and experts from various international organizations. Among the keynote speakers were:

As part of the event, INPOLIT, together with UNEP, organized an exhibition of the top 50 drawings from the 2024 national children’s art competition “Green Recovery of Ukraine: Children’s Perspective.” The exhibition offered a powerful and symbolic reminder that Ukraine’s green future is already being shaped — through the vision and hope of its youngest citizens.
