The public non-profit organization Institute of Public Policy and Consulting
INPOLIT is a Ukrainian non-profit organization with the following main goals:
to assist in the adaptation of Ukrainian environmental legislation to the
environmental legislation of the European Union, the implementation of activities
to increase environmental awareness and environmental literacy of the population
of Ukraine, primarily for the young generation of Ukrainians, as well as the
development and promotion of the implementation of environmental protection
measures and compliance with Ukrainian legislation in the field of environmental
protection.
We are currently looking for three Experts to develop a training program for
training both public environmental inspectors and public activists in the field
of environmental protection and conservation (volunteers, environmental
volunteers).
The main tasks of the experts will be:
1. Preparation of a “basic” training course (training program) for public
environmental inspectors (volunteers) and public activists in the field of
environmental protection and conservation, with a training time of 6-9 working
hours (1 - 1.5 working days of training).
2. Preparation of a short theoretical introductory part (fundamentals) for the
“basic” training course (training program) for public environmental inspectors
(volunteers) and public activists in the field of environmental protection and
conservation, which should be learned by the participants of the “basic” training
course independently in preparation for participation in the “basic” training
course.
3. Preparation of the theoretical part of the training course (training program)
provided for public environmental inspectors (volunteers) and public activists in
the field of environmental protection and conservation, which should be learned by
the participants of the "basic" training course independently after participating
in the "basic" training course.
The project is being implemented within the framework of the implementation of
activities defined by existing agreements with UN organizations.
Candidate Requirements
Work experience (at least 2 years):
- Development of training programs and training courses in the field of
environmental protection and conservation,
- Organization and conduct of trainings, training sessions in the field of
environmental protection and conservation,
- Practical experience in the field of environmental protection and conservation (in
civil service positions, state enterprises and organizations, or as employees of
environmental and/or environmental organizations of public institutions),
- Availability of samples of training programs (training courses) in the field of
environmental protection and conservation distributed in the public space (on
websites, in social networks, etc.)
- Availability of positive reviews, recommendations from national and/or
international partners regarding the high quality of training programs and training
courses.
Education: Master's or specialist's degree in law, environmental law, environmental
protection principles, green management, marketing, circular economy or related
fields.
Analytical skills: High analytical and communication skills, experience in
preparing and conducting training programs, experience working with an audience,
including youth, creating presentation materials, ability to work with PowerPoint,
PDF, CANVA, Word, Excel. Knowledge of strategic planning methodology,
inclusive approach and sustainable development.
Fluent in Ukrainian, proficiency in English is an advantage.

- resume (CV)
- motivation letter (must contain information confirming the candidate's
compliance with the requirements described in the vacancy)
- at least one recommendation (the recommendation may be general, not addressed
to our NGO)
- a brief description of the stages of task implementation and the time required to
complete them (the total working time of experts should not exceed 5 working
days, including meetings with supervisors)
- a financial proposal for the cost of services (if the candidate is not a 3rd group
individual entrepreneur with the ability to provide such services on behalf of an
individual entrepreneur, the financial proposal must contain information on the
inclusion/exclusion of taxes (personal income tax, social security contribution,
military duty) in the specified financial proposal.
Candidates will be selected based on the candidate's qualifications and experience,
financial proposal, and compliance with other requirements for the vacancy.
